On January 13, their hit song, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” became the fastest K-pop group music video to surpass 600 million views on YouTube.

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” is the title track from BLACKPINK’s first mini album “Square Up,” which was released last June 2018. Aside from its latest achievement, the music video has broken records on YouTube, including becoming the fastest K-pop group music video to reach 150 million, 200 million, 250 million, 300 million, 350 million, 400 million, 450 million, 500 million, and 550 million views on the platform.

Also, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” is the only second music video by a Korean group ever to surpass 600 million views, following BTS’s “DNA,” which reached the milestone on January 9.
