Former Wonder Girls member, K-Pop diva Sunmi, is set to kick off her ‘Warning’ World Tour next month, as announced by Makeus Entertainment. This will be her first following the launching of her solo career in 2017.

The tour will start on February 24 in Seoul to be followed by eight cities in the United States and Canada, as well as Hong Kong, Taipei and Tokyo. According to her agency, dates in European cities will be added for a second stage after the first round of the tour.

Ticket sales for her inaugural Seoul concert already opened on January 22.

Sunmi released her first solo song “Full Moon” in 2013. According to Billboard, each single that Sunmi has released became an immense hit in the South Korean music scene, largely thanks to her dynamic lyrical narratives through which she explores ideas of femininity and love, and her captivating, theatrical performances. Billboard adds that Sunmi’s 2017 hit song “Gashina” was one of the best songs of that year, and defined her identity as a soloist in a post-Wonder Girls world after the iconic act’s breakup that January.

Sunmi joins her fellow stars in touring the US this year that include Astro, Winner, Oh My Girl and BLACKPINK.
