On January 31, Billboard reported on the recent success achieved by Lee Sora courtesy of her latest track, “Song Request” that also features BTS’ Suga and co-written by Epik High’s Tablo.
According to Nielsen Music, the veteran singer’s song debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart this week with 3,000 downloads sold in the week ending January 24. The song’s release on January 22 gave it less than two days to rack up sales, Billboard says.
According to Billboard, “Song Request” marks the first entry to the World Digital Song Sales chart for Suga using his original stage name while this would also be the first time for Lee Sora to enter the charts. The BTS member has previously ranked in the World Digital Songs using his solo alias Agust D.
