CNBLUE member Jung Yong-hwa embarks on yet another noble act by establishing a scholarship program for select graduates in his alma mater, Namsan High School in Busan.
During the 28th graduation ceremony of the school last February 12, Jung Yong-hwa personally awarded scholarships to six students. The CNBLUE member also donated to the school’s development and plans for deserving students to be able to avail of the scholarship program in the future.
According to KPop Love, Jung’s kind act is nothing new. The singer has regularly donated to different foundations and organization to help low-income families. Just last December, Soompi also reported on his donation of 50 million won (approximately $44,620) to the Miral Welfare Foundation in connection with the celebration of International Day of Disabled Persons.
Jung Yong-hwa is currently serving in the military as part of the 702 Special Forces and is set to be discharged in November.
