K-Pop superstars BLACKPINK will be officially entering the Japanese market courtesy of “Kill This Love” and here’s what you may want to know about this latest feat:
The Japanese version of the mini album ‘Kill This Love’ will be released on September 11 through Interscope Records of Universal Music in Japan.
It includes a total of 10 b-side songs in two languages: Japanese and Korean.
There will be a total of 7 unique versions of the mini album: first press limited edition A; first press limited edition B; a regular version; and the solo versions of each member.
The album release will kick off the series of activities of BLACKPINK in Japan that include performances in large-scale music festivals this summer followed by a Dome tour in the following Japanese cities:
> Tokyo Dome (December 2019)
> Osaka Kyocera Dome (January 2020)
> Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome (February 2020)
BLACKPINK has been widely popular in Japan since the release of their self-titled EP ‘Blackpink’ that included Japanese versions of their first five releases.
Their follow up studio-album ‘Blackpink In Your Area’ also featured four Japanese versions of their tracks.
The Korean album was released worldwide last April and this earned BLACKPINK’s first place in the US’ iTunes Album chart.
